Performance/Show Contract
Blue Note Aussies agrees to sell the following dog on __________

for the sum of $ ______ and the following conditions:
This dog is guaranteed as follows:
- To the best of my knowledge to be in good health; if however, a licensed veterinarian finds this dog to be suffering
from a serious health defect or disease within 72 hours of the sale (except those due to injury or neglect), the Buyer
may return the dog with a certificate from the examining veterinarian and the full purchase price will be refunded.
Buyer assumes full responsibility for the health, appearance, and temperament of the dog until returned.
- To be free of show disqualifying faults under the AKC breed standard (but because of the multiple factors involved
in the success of a show dog, no guarantee is given for the success of this dog in the show ring).
- To be fertile and free of all hereditary defects affecting its suitability for breeding.
The Seller agrees:
- That if the dog is unsuitable for breeding or show because of a hereditary defect it will be replaced with a puppy of
equal or greater value at no cost to Buyer (except shipping related charges if applicable) upon return of registration
papers and proof of spaying or euthanasia. PLEASE NOTE: Once the dog has been bred, all afore mentioned
guarantees will be considered fulfilled, since in so breeding the dog, the Buyer considers it of suitable breeding
quality.
The Buyer agrees:
- To properly provide the dogs basic physical needs: Shelter, food, water and yearly routine medical care.
- To train, condition and exhibit the dog in conformation shows in an attempt to earn Championship points.
- That the dog will have obtained the following before it is bred unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by both Buyer
and Seller:
- Championship, OFA Hip certification, OFA Elbow certification, and current CERF number.
- To have a blood sample taken as soon as possible to be sent to the University of Missouri DNA project, and to
notify Seller of such.
- Not to sell this dog or its offspring to any commercial dog center, nor to anyone intending to breed for commercial
resale.
- That if the dog is offered for resale or re-homing, that the Seller will be given first option to repurchase or re-home
the dog. If you cannot keep the dog for any reason, please contact Seller as soon as possible - DO NOT under any
circumstance give the dog away or take it to an animal shelter. If necessary, we will take full responsibility for the
dog. Seller will repurchase dogs as follows: Under 6 months old at full purchase price; 6 months – 1 yr. at ½ the
purchase price; After 1 yr.dog to be returned with no compensation to Buyer.
- That if the dog in this contract is found in any way to be abused physically or mentally, not receiving proper
veterinary care, or is kept without shade, water, & food, then the ownership shall be forfeited back to the Seller
along with all registration papers signed over with the proper signatures.
- To solely use the kennel name Terra-Blue in the dog's registered name with no other prefixes or suffixes
whatsoever.
Optional Terms
Seller reserves the bitch back under the following terms - Buyer will lease the bitch back to Seller for _1____ litter. Litter
(s) will be solely owned by Seller. Bitch will reside with Seller starting from about 2 weeks before whelping, until puppies
are weaned at around 7 weeks of age. All costs incurred by the breeding, before and after whelping, will be the
responsibility of the Seller. Buyer will incur no expenses nor receive any income from the resulting litter
